Earlier this year, we at Spacehive partnered with the ECB to support cricket clubs fundraising for COVID-19 relief efforts. We are delighted to now be opening a second round of crowdfunding to help local cricket clubs across the country return to cricket. As with the last round of funding, the ECB will be providing clubs with a pledge of £100 towards their crowdfunding campaigns. ----------------------------- Coming out of the COVID-19 crisis, cricket clubs remain under financial pressure as many traditional fundraising events have been cancelled and revenue from memberships subs and the club bar is greatly reduced. Through the programme, clubs are creating crowdfunding campaigns to help them return to cricket, encouraging members and the local community to pledge and support their club. The ECB helps to get the campaigns off to a flying start by pledging £100 as soon as it goes live.
