We need to create a new separate outdoor patched area to abide by Covis 19 measures and new sitescreens to replace 20yr old existing ones.

COVID19 guidelines state we need to provide separate areas for both HOMR & AWAY Teams. We have one pathed area at present but the other designated area is grass not a solid surface so chairs can not be used. The sitescreens we have left are a single screen at either end, there use to be a pair of screens at either end, but the weather and time (we reckon them to be about 20yrs old) has contributed to breakages (wind blowing them over) and general wear and tear.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Will give a more tidy appearance to the overall look of the ground to go with improvement program our landlords have considerd making to the building itself. We are in an unique situation where our ground as it is in the centre of the former county asylum therefore you need to know the ground is there to find it as you won't just come across it. Those who have played here like the ground it is one of the largest grounds and picturesque within our league but with our situation we haven't been able to attract resources that normal cricket clubs can. Advertisers are a bit reluctant advertise as we are not a visable ground except on match days. Our main source of income has been for many years our capacity to rent our our ground to other clubs but this year we have had zero income due to the Covid 19 pandemic our projected income will be 25% of normal reducing our capability to do improvements unlikely. Improving the facility helps put us in a better position to offer our facilities.
Steps to get it done:
We have been here for 120yrs plus we want to continue for awhile longer but need help to achieve this. There is a plan in the pipeline to develop some of the surrounding grounds of the former asylum site we hope in time to benefit from this development but we need to ensure are ready to reap the benefits
