Because of Covid-19 we have not been able to hold our normal fundraising activities or ask Members for the usual annual fees and hope to be able to raise additional funds to support our Club.
We want to be able to continue with our plans for improving our ground and to ensure that we have the best facilities we can have for all our members and opponents. Whilst we were able to do some ground maintenance before the start of the season we were hoping to be able to raise enough funds to allow us to carry out shock waving to our ground during the course of the season. It is hoped that we will be able to raise enough money to allow us to carry this out and ensure that we are able to improve the drainage. Should we raise more than our original target we will look to carry out the following work: - There is some maintenance work required to our site screens that will need to be completed at the end of the season. - There are also repairs to the nets that need to be considered should funding be available. For the first time we will be playing a number of women's and girls matches on our pitches and this will also require additional maintenance and expenditure.

Why it's a great idea:
We had hoped to be able to fund this work through annual membership fees and our normal fundraising activities (Sportsman's dinner/bar takings at matches/training and other social events). As this is no longer possible due to the Government restrictions we need to look at other fundraising options. Any support received via this campaign will help us to ensure that we are able to maintain our facilities for all our senior and junior members and to encourage new men, women, boys and girls to join our Club.

VolunteerTarleton Cricket Club is an all inclusive Cricket club catering for anyone in the local community from the age of 7 onwards who wants to play or partake in club cricket. We are Clubmark accredited and have ECB approved coaches. We have teams in kwik cricket, under 11, under 13, under 15, under 17 as well as 4 senior teams playing on Saturday (3) and Sunday (1), 2 women's teams (hard and soft ball) and a girl's softball team.
The club is family orientated and all family members are invited to join or just come and watch.
Project Owner: Tarleton Cricket Club The Project Owner takes legal responsibility for receiving and spending the funds raised and ensuring the project is delivered.
