The idea
The COVID-19 crisis has caused our income be severely disrupted before the season even started. Normally subs, fees and sponsorships would help cover the costs but the lockdown has caused us to abandon our early season fundraising plans which are essential in helping towards our running costs many of which have already been paid for.
Topcroft CC is a community based club entirely run by volunteers, we are based in a tiny Norfolk rural village, where we run junior programs for girls and boys from the age of 6, a schools tournament, a ladies team and softball event, 3 senior teams and an over 40's team.
We are planning to start a new junior program, Dynamo's, with your help and generosity we can provide this as summer holiday experience.
What we'll deliver

Why it's a great idea
Your support will help the mental and physical wellbeing of our village members and the wider community, it help us survive the lockdown allowing us to be ready to open cricket activities to everyone as soon as we are allowed. It will allow us to start a new cricket initiative for 8 - 12 year olds who may not have had the chance to play at school or a club before and will also ensure the local schools cluster tournaments we host solely relying on volunteers to do so!
Developing talent for the future of our senior teams is essential and we have been proud to see many of our juniors play in our first team and beyond into first class cricket over many years at Topcroft CC, your help will continue to allow us to do this and allow the wider community to enjoy watching this on lazy summer afternoons.
