The idea
Mynthurst CC has lost over 70% of its annual income due to COVID-19. Our savings have been decimated, meaning we are relying on the generosity of the local community and cricket lovers to ensure we can continue into many more summers.
Our bills are over £500 a month and we have decided to set up this crowdfunding page to help towards paying 3 months' worth of bills.
The ECB will donate £100 to the cause if we hit at least £100 towards our target.
We want to ensure there is a place for the whole community to come together to play and enjoy cricket. It will be more important than ever once this is all over!

Why it's a great idea
We love our cricket club and want to ensure it flourishes into the future. With your help we can maintain the high level of ground care into the winter months, ensuring we can re open our ground fully next year, ensuring we can once again hire the ground out to cricket lovers and restart our valuable income streams.
Steps to get it done
- Purchasing loam to prepare the cricket wicket for next season
- Purchasing grass seed to prepare the cricket wicket for next season
- Professional machinery maintenance costs for the equipment to prepare the ground
- Purchasing fuel the run the machinery - about 60 hours of rolling and cutting is required over the winter
