The idea
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, Broadbridge Heath Cricket Club has had to close our bar. Our membership subs have also been impacted. There is no cricket activity, so no match fees are being paid. These revenue streams are critical to the functioning of the club.
Any support members and the general public can provide during this time would be a great help and would ensure that we can pay our bills and reopen as soon as this crisis is over.
Playing and enjoying cricket and ensuring there is a place for the whole community to come together will be more important than ever once this is all over!
We also contain to maintain the ground, which is open to the whole community to come and enjoy.
What we'll deliver
- Help pay for critical overheads during COVID crisis
- Cover ground maintenance and key running costs
Why it's a great idea
As the cricket season has yet to get under way and all our fundraisers are currently cancelled, we have no income but still have to pay bills that all add up. We have managed to raise some money through Sport England, which we are grateful for, but every penny counts.
We love our Cricket Club and want to ensure it survives this crisis. With your help we will be open again as soon as possible once it is safe to do so.
Steps to get it done
- Trigger crowdfunding
- Raise essential funds
