We're a village cricket club with a 200 year history. We want to put a hard strip down at the edge of the pitch
We've obtained planning permission to build a hard-base pitch for our nets. See SDNP/20/00024/FUL . We are looking to raise the sums required to excavate, put in hard standing, and put a carpet pitch on top. Presently nets take place on the pitch which can cause damage and is not practical in wet weather.

VolunteerLynchmere CC was officially founded in 1819 but cricket has been played in the village since at least the 1770s. We play friendly cricket on Saturday’s and Sunday’s from April through to the end of September, we then tour to the South of France every other year. We are always on the lookout for new players, experienced pro or first timer, you will be very welcome at Lynchmere. "Average cricket in beautiful surroundings"
