To help support the cricket club during the covid 19 crisis to ensure it is ready to rebound post lockdown.
To help support the cricket club during the covid 19 crisis to ensure it is ready to rebound post lockdown. With social distancing in place the training and playing of cricket is on hold and as a result revenues for the club has been put on hold and significantly reduced. However fixed costs to maintain the clubs existence and shared site costs are significant and unavoidable. This situation puts a significant financial strain on the club to continue to provide the level of service to its members and the community.

VolunteerSince inception in 1962 (as Vosper Thornycroft Cricket Club) Old Netley & Highfield has made significant progress in all aspects of its junior and senior team development, coaching, support and facilities. The need for long term sustainability of its adult teams in order to meet its desire to excel as a major cricketing force in Hampshire is constant.
The location of the Club gives a healthy local catchment of the communities of Old Netley, Lowford, Burseldon, Sholing, Thornhill, Bitterne, Weston, Itchen, Woolston, Butlocks Heath, Newtown & Harefield together with a range of local primary, junior and secondary schools and colleges.
Our mission remains true, "To promote cricket in the community, played competitively & in the true spirit of the game and to encourage the take up of the game at all ages and gender by providing facilities and opportunities for players from under 9 to Adulthood."
Project Owner: Old Netley & Highfield Cricket Club The Project Owner takes legal responsibility for receiving and spending the funds raised and ensuring the project is delivered.
