We are crowdfunding to raise some funds to help us through the closed season and prepare for a (hopefully) full and successful 2021 campaign.
We are delighted that our seniors and juniors have been able to play some cricket this season. As a club, our finances have been impacted by Covid-19 with the clubhouse being closed to fundraising events and functions and collecting reduced subs from players due to the shortened season. We would like to raise some funds to help us through the closed season and prepare for a (hopefully) full and successful 2021 campaign.

Assistance with funding at a time where we have little or no subs coming in. Assistance with funding for new nets at ALCC ground
Steps to get it done:
It is great to see cricket being played again at The Manor House Ground, but we would love to see our club continue this despite being significantly down on income during the crisis. Keeping the club viable will continue to provide a place within the local community where many junior and senior members can enjoy the benefits of the great game of Cricket.

• 3 senior teams competing in the Saracens Herts Cricket League- 1st XI in Division 2A.
• Ladies team in the newly formed 4 Counties League.
• Junior cricket for boys and girls from aged 6 and above.
• Affiliated sections include Junior football, darts and social section.
• Support to Duke of Edinburgh Programmes/ Coaching in Local Schools
WHAT HAVE WE ACHIEVED?
• In the past three years – 1st XI has had 2 promotions and reached 2 County cup finals. The junior section has won 4 county titles.(8 all told)
•The club have held Club Mark accreditation since 2004 (renewed in 2017)
COLLECTIVE INDIVIDUAL ACHIEVEMENTS OF OUR MEMBERS
• Selection for international cricket teams .
• Numerous County players at various levels from Under 11 to Over 50!
• 10 qualified Level 2 coaches, 10 plus Support coaches.
• National award (OSCA) for coaching in the club and local community.
• Chairman of the Hertfordshire Coaches Association.
• Numerous coaches and managers involved in the County junior programme at County, Area and District level.
• Numerous qualified umpires and scorers.
