We are looking to build disability access and toilet in our club to help those who may struggle with stairs
Here at Skelmanthorpe Cricket Club, we are looking to make changes for those who may struggle with stairs. For those who are local you are all aware of one of our top supporters Liam, who is unable to come into the club or use our toilets. This is due to us not being wheelchair friendly. We want to change this, not just for Liam but for anybody who finds stairs a difficulty. We are looking to raise money to help build disability access into the club, as well as a disabled toilet. We will be building a ramp which will lead up onto the balcony just outside the entrance of the pavilion, which will then see a large double door entrance ensuring that we are wheelchair friendly. We have plans in place to make this happen, we just need help to make it a reality. At the moment we sadly have no facilities for wheelchair needs or anybody that struggles to use stairs. Any kind of donation, big or small would be greatly appreciated and every penny goes towards this build. Thank you in advance
