With COVID19 preventing a cricket season this year. And no group gatherings CACC have been unable to run our usual fundraising activities and may still struggle for some time to come. The club needs additional measures now to continue during the pandemic and the ground still needs maintaining and the equipment to do so still needs servicing meaning costs are still as high as they were before. so we are reaching out to you to help support us to pay for these vital elements of running our local community based club. The England Cricket Board have pledged to donate £100 to clubs that raise a minimum of £100 themselves during this uncertain time. Your help to achieve this and beyond would go a long way to helping pay for the vital elements of the running of the cricket ground so that we can continue to bring the community together even through such difficult times.

What we'll deliver:

  • Servicing of vital equipment
  • Maintenance of the ground for youth and adult cricket
  • Continuous COVID19 safety measure improvements

Why it's a great idea:

During COVID19 all our usual fundraising activity has had to be cancelled. But new measures during this time have also pushed our outlays up. We love our sport and our ground and with these funds we will be able to continue to provide facilities that our community can feel safe and enjoyable sport can take place

Steps to get it done:

  • run crowdfunding campaign to collect funds
  • pay for essential overheads
  • begin planning for the new season
