Kesgrave CC - Return to Cricket Funding

Kesgrave Cricket Club By Kesgrave Cricket Club

Our seniors and juniors have managed to play some cricket this season. As a club, our finances have been impacted by Covid-19 with limited opportunities to raise funds but our costs still remain.

This project was funded on 11 Sep 2020!

We have had to pay our annual bar license fee and our rent on the ground although we have only managed to use it for less than three months meaning we will make a substantial loss in 2020. To ensure the continued success of the club and for the provision of excellent facilities and quality cricket at Twelve Acre Approach. We would also like to start up a ladies team in 2021.

What we'll deliver:

  • Annual pitch and square renovation works
  • Clubhouse and score hut maintenance
  • Purchase of training and match equipment
  • Coach education courses

Why it's a great idea:

The benefits are the continuation of cricket in 2021 with increased facilities for juniors and ladies.

Steps to get it done:

  • Perform Autumn maintenance at the end of the season
  • Perform maintenance on pavilion and score hut
  • New coaches to undertake training courses
