Whatton & Aslockton C.C. are to purchase a 'Pro V Elite Batting Net' at a cost of £200. The ECB have agreed to fund the first £100. Any Overfunding will enable the completion of the fixed net frame which will enable our members, juniors and seniors to train within the guidelines of the ECB and Government restrictions.

These batting nets will allow members to train within the safe guidelines required for the game of cricket in these difficult times.

Steps to get it done:

• Providing practice facilities.

These nets will allow our Senior and Junior members to practice meaningfully and safely until the restrictions are lifted so the recreational game can continue as we know it.
