Lindfield Cricket Club provides cricket games, coaching and development for young people between the ages of 7 and 18 on Lindfield Common. We currently have almost 200 young people from the local area who are involved with the Club. Adult supervision and coaching is all by volunteers. The Club provides playing equipment for the young people to use throughout the season. One of the main items of expenditure for us each year is the cricket balls that we use for matches and practice. These balls have to be of a certain standard and are not cheap. Raising funds to pay for these balls will help the Club continue to provide cricket activity for these youngsters.

What we'll deliver:

  • Cricket coaching and practice for Lindfield's young people
  • Young people's cricket matches on Lindfield Common
  • Matches being played with the appropriate quality cricket ball

Why it's a great idea:

The Lindfield Cricket Academy has enjoyed considerable success over the last few years. This has been due to the dedication of coaches, players, their parents and other volunteers. In order to get the best quality experience for these young players they do need to use the right equipment and good quality cricket balls are obviously essential.

Steps to get it done:

  • Purchase of circa 50 Junior cricket balls for 2021 season
