Our cricket club relies on a full season of cricket taking place to survive with membership, sponsorship and match fees. It needs your help during this COVID-19 crisis.
With no cricket taking place until mid July, Gilberdyke Cricket Club are left with running costs to pay and essential maintenance with a reduced income! The ECB will donate £100 to us as a club if we raise some much needed funds, so we have set up this crowdfunding page to make sure we can maintain our existence in the community. With that in mind please make a small donation!
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
We love our cricket club and we want to make sure it survives the crisis and also comes out in a better place to offer an improved service for the communities in and around Gilberdyke. The main income streams are currently on hold, no fundraisers and sponsorship. Weekly match subs have just started. This project will ensure the future of your club and an improved playing facility. Steps to get it done: Sustainable running costs. Pay the clubs insurance bill for the year and allow us to continue our activities. Afford seed, fertiliser and fuel for maintaining the wicket square Pay for making the club COVID-19 proof. Purchasing of hand sanitiser and cleaning products.
