We are raising funds for new covers to protect the cricket squares. If we reach our target, the ECB will generously donate £100 towards our project.
COVID 19 has adversely affected our ability to raise funds for essential equipment this season. We are a thriving club based in New Malden and are always looking for ways to improve our facilities for the benefit of all members, from colts to seniors. We desperately need new covers and these will enable us to best protect the squares and play more games at all levels. Our ground is already maintained to a high standard but due to an increasing number of teams and the popularity of the club,, demands on the club facilities are steadily increasing and we need to respond accordingly. The ECB will generously donate £100 to the club if we can raise at least £100 towards our target. Ideally we need two covers (approx £500 each) so we are hoping to raise as much as possible. All donations will be greatly appreciated. Thank You!
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Improve and protect playing surface. Sound investment - vital role in ground maintenance and pitch preparation. Less abandoned or weather affected matches.
Steps to get it done:
The target of £200 has been set to maximise our chances of raising sufficient funds (£100) to receive the ECB Donation of £100. These funds will go towards purchasing covers. However, given the total cost of covers, we are hoping to raise significantly more! All donations gratefully received.
