East Grinstead Cricket Club has been developing rapidly over recent years and has expanded beyond its current facilities. With an increasing number of members joining the club we have been in need of further playing space for some time, which this project will deliver. The project will deliver a unique ground and facility to allow all to play Cricket for all. The impact of Covid-19 on the cub has been severe. The membership fees and ongoing growth of the club would have usually funded this development, however this has not been possible. This funding would allow the project to still become a reality despite the impact of Covid-19. Your donation will help fund the restoration of the square, outfield, practice area and pavilion. We would like to ensure that as a club we have the facilities to provide opportunities for all ages, gender and abilities in the area.

What we'll deliver:

  • Upgrade, repair and maintain the square and outfield.
  • Repair, refurbish and develop the pavilion.
  • Repair and maintain the current ground equipment

Why it's a great idea:

The project serves as a chance to embrace togetherness and a sense of community. After a period of such isolation for many this is a great opportunity for the club to come together for the benefit of all. Completing the project would solve a serious lack of cricket facilities in the town and this is would be a chance to bring life back to a unique setting a fabulous history.

Steps to get it done:

  • Make the pitch and playing square playable
  • Restore the pavilion to make it usable for players
  • Restore the ground maintenance equipment to be used on the new ground ongoing
