The idea
Although we have recently received the great news of the return of recreational cricket, the club has still run up costs ahead of the restart with no income to pay them.
We have set up this crowdfunding page to help support our costs to get us simply to the end of the season. The ECB will donate £100 to us when we have raised at least £100.
As a club we want to ensure that we can continue to offer cricket to our membership.
What we'll deliver
- Help pay running costs incurred during Covid-19
- Cover cost of replacement/ repair of grounds maintenance equipment.
Why it's a great idea
It is great to see cricket being played again at Wesrbourne Grove, but we would love to see our club continue this despite being without income during the crisis.
Keeping the club viable will continue to provide a place within the local community where approximately 80 junior members and 50 senior members can enjoy the benefits of the great game of Cricket.
