Providing support and funding to cricket clubs across the country as they return to cricket.
Cricket is a great game!. We find that most kids who try cricket when young stay with it. We got a huge boost last year when England won the Cricket World Cup in the most thrilling manner and we doubled the number of 5 to 11 year old boys and girls at our club. We were worried we would lose them because of the restricted and delayed start of the season due to the pandemic. But we have retained and added more kids to our Junior section. We`re getting back on our feet and hope ground improvements will attract `More Kids into Cricket - Howzat?`
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Cricket is a healthy activity for youngsters. If we can keep kids interested in playing and practising their cricket we feel the club's long term future is assured. We have a committed team of qualified coaches who volunteer many hours of their time supporting the club and it`s young players. By offering cricket to youngsters and their families in our local area we play a bigger role in our local community.
