Creating healthy people, a healthy economy, a healthy environment and healthy organisations
Wellington Cricket Club have already raised 80% of their £10,000 target to off-set the financial impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. We are now appealing to sponsors and local business in one Final Push!
We are now just £2,000 away from hitting our Covidfund total, which will help us overcome the short-term financial shock of the pandemic on the cricket club and the considerable costs of re-opening the club safely in July. So far the burden of off-setting the impact of COVID-19 has been shouldered by the club's membership who have shown great spirit and imagination to raise an incredible £8,000 in just three months. Now we are politely asking for the help of sponsors, local businesses and generous benefactors to help get us over the line. Once we have hit our target, the club will be donating the equivilent of 10% of the total to two of our long-standing supported charities: Severn Hospice and Teenage Cancer Trust.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
If we hit our target, we will be able to put the pandemic behind us and concentrate on delivering as much cricket as possible for local men, women, boys and girls from 2021 onwards.
