Actonians Ladies CC relies on lots of fundraising in order to keep our membership fees low. As a result of the COVID-19 crisis, we need to get creative with how to raise money to help our club!
With a delayed start to cricket this year as a result of the COVID-19 crisis, our income as a cricket club is inevitably much lower than normal. Additional funding opportunities are also understandably much harder to come by, and due to restrictions on gatherings and the need for social distancing - we are unable to run our normal series of fundraising events throughout the remainder of the season. The ECB will donate £100 to the cause if we hit at least £100 towards our crowdfunding target. We will use this money to go towards the bills we still have to pay at the end of the season, and this will ensure we are in a better place for a (hopefully!) much more normal season next year!
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
As the cricket season is now underway and all of our fundraising events are currently cancelled, we have a much smaller income... but we still have to pay the bills! With your help we can make sure our club is in a good place for hopefully much more normal times next year!
