The idea
Earlier this year, ECB partnered with Spacehive to support the Dynamos Cricket programme and help centres raise funds to support volunteer recruitment. We are delighted that ECB and Spacehive are now offering us the opportunity to use the platform to support fundraising initiatives for COVID-19 relief efforts.
During the COVID-19 crisis, cricket clubs are under financial pressure as traditional fundraising events have been cancelled and revenue from memberships subs and the club bar dries up. Through the programme, we have created our crowdfunding campaign and we are encouraging our members and members of the local community to pledge and support us during these unprecedented times. In response, the ECB will help us to get our campaign off to a flying start by pledging £100 as soon as it goes live.
What we'll deliver
- Any funding raised will help us the running costs of the club during the COVID-19 lockdown
