The idea
Every year Chiddingstone Cricket club has a number of ongoing costs to maintain the ground, equipment and facilities. Although we have managed to play some cricket in 2020, including junior cricket after the school year, the lack of match fees and other regular funding means we will be in deficit at the end of the season.

Why it's a great idea
The current situation has shown how sport is essential to the well being of our community. Not only to those playing it but the spectators and visitors who need an escape from the challenging times we are in. Cricket is an essential part of Chiddingstone village life which also supports the local pub and other amenities. We appreciate anything you are able to give.
