We, at Scunthorpe Town Cricket Club, are resilient, but not immune from the effects of the current pandemic. We have hardly played any cricket this season and still have bills to pay. We rarely ask for donations, but we hope that you can offer support to the club as we look to offer 'Cricket for All' as we plan to recover into 2021.
We have continued to run the club via club funds however, with hardly income from memberships, local sponsorships, match fees and fundraising due to a shortened 2020 season, the club needs your help to support the club, however much as it will help us towards building a secure future into 2021 and beyond.
We hope that you appreciate our service to the local community and any funds received will be used (as always) to maintain, improve and expand our cricket offerings.
The ECB will donate £100 to the cause once we have hit £100 of our target.
What we'll deliver:
- Help pay for critical overheads (insurance etc) during the COVID-19 crisis
- Ability to invest in the clubs future playing experience
- Help towards replacing the bowling machine
Why it's a great idea:
We love our cricket club and we want to make sure it survives the crisis and also comes out in a better place to offer an improved service for the community in Scunthorpe. This project will ensure the future of your club and an improved playing facility.
