Replacing safety equipment at the cricket ground, thereby creating a safer environment for our playing members.
We need a new, lighter-weight batting cage to enable all our players to train in a safe and accessible environment. The existing cages are not the easiest to manoeuvre and in need of maintenance. Whilst ordinarily the renewal and maintenance of this equipment would be covered by club revenues, our decision to reduce player subscriptions due to Coronavirus has resulted in a funding shortage for a critical issue.

VolunteerWe are a volunteer-led, not-for-profit community sports club. We provide coaching and competitive cricket for all from aged 5 upwards. Tucked away in a beautiful, tranquil location providing a safe environment for young and old alike. We took the decision to reduce playing subs this year due to Coronavirus to cover our basic costs -however we need to raise additional funds to enable us to enhance safety measures. Unusually high winds this summer have caused damage to our sightscreens and batting cages -hence we are seeking to utilise ECB funding and the generosity of our community to enable our club to ride through the turbulance and emerge serenely on the other side.
Project Owner: Thornton Cleveleys Cricket Club The Project Owner takes legal responsibility for receiving and spending the funds raised and ensuring the project is delivered.
