Providing support and funding to cricket clubs across the country as they return to cricket.

The netting area has fallen into disrepair. This limits the space available for the junior and senior teams to train on practice nights. We hope to improve & expand the facilities.
Our club (Est 1919) has a long tradition of providing cricket for the local community in this ex-mining area. The club has a long-standing reputation for providing young people and adults with safe, accessible and inspirational cricketing opportunities, for all levels, ages and abilities. The practice area (nets) are out-dated and of a poor standard to offer quality sports opportunities for the community and groups it serves. Reaching our target will enable us to fund the renovation of the old surface and preparing the nets ready for the installation of a top-class alternative.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Junior cricket and participation is relatively lacking in our area, partly due to barriers limiting access to suitable quality pitches, coaching and club opportunities. We are determined to help level the playing field and ensure anyone can take part, regardless of background, age and ability. Upgrading the facilities will provide the opportunity for role models to inspire local children to get involved and experience sporting activities.
