The COVID-19 epidemic has meant that we have not been able to hold fundraising activities or ask players and members for their annual fees. We hope to raise funds to support our club.
Lockdown meant there was no activity during the first half of the season. With the return of recreational cricket we are able to play some matches but there has been a significant reduction in income while costs continue to be paid. As well as regular costs, we need funds for essential repairs. The flat roof outside of the pavilion is leaking, covers and sight screens need repairs and there will be much needed pitch repairs at the end of the season. Our priority is to continue to offer facilities for playing cricket to the local community, as we have been doing since 1850.
