Providing support and funding to cricket clubs across the country as they return to cricket.
The COVID-19 epidemic has meant that we have not been able to hold fundraising activities or ask players and members for their annual fees. We hope to raise funds to support our club.
Lockdown meant there was no activity during the first half of the season. With the return of recreational cricket we are able to play some matches but there has been a significant reduction in income while costs continue to be paid. As well as regular costs, we need funds for essential repairs. The flat roof outside of the pavilion is leaking, covers and sight screens need repairs and there will be much needed pitch repairs at the end of the season. Our priority is to continue to offer facilities for playing cricket to the local community, as we have been doing since 1850.

VolunteerTaplow Cricket Club has been part of the local community since 1850.
Playing at the top of the hill on the picturesque Ten Acres ground, the club currently runs two Saturday teams playing in the Thames Valley Cricket League and a Sunday eleven for all ages which plays competitive but friendly matches.
The club has a thriving Colts section which provides coaching for boys and girls age 6 and up, with an opportunity to get experience of playing in teams in junior league cricket.
The club is always interested in finding new players who may be interested in joining the club.
There are also opportunities for sponsors who might be interested in supporting the club.
Project Owner: Gillian Daglish The Project Owner takes legal responsibility for receiving and spending the funds raised and ensuring the project is delivered.
