Please note this fund is open twice per year for spring and autumn funding rounds - see the About page for more information on the next deadline.
We are looking to support projects which provide or enhance community facilities, for example community centres and hubs, voluntary sector meeting places and community kitchens, and public art installations and cultural facilities. We are particularly interested in projects that address social exclusion.
H&F Hive runs funding 'rounds'. These are windows during which you can pitch your projects to funds and launch a crowdfunding campaign! The deadline for the spring funding round is 21st April 2021. By then your project must be uploaded to Spacehive, you must have pitched to the Fast Track or Community Infrastructure Levy funds, and you must have submitted your project for verification.
Your project will typically be assessed 6 weeks after the fund deadline. However, please note that the council will not be the first organisation to pledge to your project. We will want to see community support and backing, in the form of smaller pledges from local people, before considering a pledge towards your campaign. The Spacehive team is on hand to share lots of advice on how to run a brilliant crowdfunding campaign.
To get started, create your project on Spacehive or share your idea with Spacehive using this form.
