We urgently need your support to move into a new warehouse and upgrade our facilities. Your help means we can continue supporting around 2,500 people each month who otherwise would go hungry.
In May, we were told, without warning, that we must leave our current warehouse by the end of June. This space is the heart of everything we do at Hammersmith & Fulham Foodbank. It’s where we store, sort, and pack the 12 tonnes of food we distribute every month to people in crisis. Last year alone, we provided 28,032 emergency food parcels to local individuals and families. We’ve secured a new warehouse in Flora Gardens, Ravenscourt Park, but it’s been empty for over a year and requires significant clearance and renovation before it can be ready for use. We urgently need your support to make it usable. The funds raised will cover all moving costs, including the safe transport of our current food stock, as well as clearance, deep cleaning, painting, and vital repairs to make the new space fully functional. Your support is essential to ensuring there’s no disruption to our services and that no one in our borough goes hungry. Together, we can continue the fight to end food poverty.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Since 2010, Hammersmith & Fulham Foodbank has worked to tackle food poverty and its root causes across the borough. As part of the Trussell Trust network, we run eight weekly sessions at four sites, providing three-day emergency parcels and essential toiletries to people in crisis, supported by over 180 volunteers. Beyond food, we offer practical support and referrals to over 100 local partners for help with housing, debt, benefits, and mental health. Our aim is not just to give food but to provide dignity, compassion, and a pathway to long-term stability. Our warehouse is the heart of our operations; it’s where our community donations and purchased food to fill the gaps that donations don’t meet is safely stored, sorted, and prepared for delivery to our foodbank sessions. Securing and upgrading a new warehouse means one thing: we can keep delivering food to those who need it most, without interruption.
