The idea
This exhibition presents a powerful body of work collected through an Open Call during the pandemic, highlighting the unequal impact of COVID-19 on marginalised communities in London and around the world.
It shines a light on the growing global health inequalities exposed by the pandemic, while also exploring the long-term social, emotional, and economic effects that continue to unfold today. Through photography, personal testimonies, and written reflections, the exhibition focuses on critical issues such as housing inequality, race, immigration status, women’s rights, health disparities, and mental health amplifying voices and experiences often excluded from the dominant narrative of the pandemic.
Injustices & Inequalities: COVID-19 is more than an exhibition; it is the beginning of an ongoing conversation and programme. It will launch a platform dedicated to elevating unheard voices and fostering a more informed, compassionate, and equitable response to inequality.

Why it's a great idea
The exhibition will help bringing this vital work to a wide audience through a free, accessible, and inclusive cultural event. It will not only raise awareness about social and health inequalities but also foster a deeper understanding of the long-term impact of COVID-19 on marginalised communities.
Supporting this exhibition will help empower underrepresented voices and help build sustainable change.
The exhibition is just the beginning; it will launch an annual initiative dedicated to continuing the fight against inequality. Through dialogue, education, and community participation, we aim to create a lasting platform for those whose voices have too often been overlooked.
