To transform a community hub in Rotherhithe into a multi-functioning Makerspace for daily use by young people. The focus will be on developing skills, community outreach & professional collaboration.

This month we will be hosing 3 crowdfunding events so please keep the following dates free: - 26th March @LSBU Pop up Market all day. - 27th March, the SE16 STEAM Youth Initiative. (Sciences Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) open evening for whoever wants to become a key decision maker and join our dynamic local initiative and help in the shaping, development &, running of exciting Tech & Makercraft projects. 3 Groups: 8 - 12 years; 13 - 15 years; 16 -25 years. - 28th March: it's time for Holi, the festival of Love in our community. Happy Friday! And to make sure you will be happy, we want to share with you a video when our young ambassadors won the Culture Seeds Award last year in one of the 10 categories. The project was about recycling and how the plastic is affecting our lives. Feel free to visit our Facebook page to see the images of the exhibition. Hey everyone! Thank you very much for sharing, our project is going around and we thank everyone supporting us in any way. Thank you for your texts, calls, emails, we are always happy to answer your questions as it's a proof of interest. Your kind words mean a lot to us. We have various promises of pledges and look forward to them for the next couple of weeks. We will be hosting 2 events end of March so please keep an eye on our social Media. The first one will be to build a team of young people to promote STEAM in our local area (youth advisory board, ambassadors, .) in collaboration with corporates, educational institutions and possibly youth organisations tbc. The second one will be a cultural festival in our community for local families. Stay Tuned! Bizzie Bodies team.
