Fulham Good Neighbours supports older and disabled people in the Home and Garden, in the Community and at our Community Centre (Rosaline Hall) and Online.
We were founded in 1966 and in 2019 were awarded the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.
In 2020/21 100% of our beneficiaries stated that they would recommend our services. 100% of our beneficiaries also stated they felt that Fulham Good Neighbours creates a community where neighbours look out and care for each other.
In 2020/21 we supported 475 older and disabled people with the help of 115 volunteers.
Support in the Home and Garden:
- Food to the door – hot food/food packages and toiletries delivered up to four times a week in partnership with The Smile Brigade
- Decorating and DIY - for those that cannot pay or do the work themselves
- Gardening – as above; and
- Adopt a Garden project (in partnership with Nubian Life) – befriending and gardening support.
Support in the Community:
- Befriending – in person and via telephone - and Good Neighbour Scheme including shopping, medication delivery, escort to appointments etc.
- Social clubs, including: Art/Reading/Carer’s/Lunch/Silver Clubs and Chair Based Exercise class
- Our annual Parsons Green Fair

- Digital Inclusion support via home visits/telephone/remote technology so to mitigate against digital exclusion
