More about our impact

More about our impact

The environment

The environment

The children learnt the proper method for planting trees and hopefully instilled a better understanding of nature and the need for biodiversity

The local economy

The local economy

We bought the trees from a local nursery. The stakes were bought from a local Coppice worker. The chicken wire was bought from a local country store. We are hoping that the area will encourage more visitors to the gardens and local amenities such shops/ restaurants.

Volunteering, jobs & education

Volunteering, jobs & education

The volunteers who work in the gardens will help care for the trees, as will the children who are keen to water , several children brought their parents, so they were proud of their achievements.

Arts, culture & heritage
