School woodland theatre project,:- encourage inter generational communication / school and village volunteers create woodland theatre in local landowners derelict woodland , I am a member of the local coppice group I am happy to advise, theatre is used for plays by mainly children/adolescents, older can mentor younger, they can Use natural materials for making sets create costumes that fit to or over clothes,The local forest school teachers can use the area , scout, Cubs,guides for the study /record biodiversity ,creates community interests , study and connections with nature/ a means by which it could be a hub of community interest ,more happiness less lonlyness, inter school/ village competitions for yearly biodiversity, to see which village creates habitat that is the most appealing to nature, local use of village halls for people to talk about their ideas on how to tackle the future in the present/ community gardens/farms/ farmers may even decide to grow fields of oil producing plants between fields of crops including permaculture for biodiversity/ they might even form form a cooperative to get a biodiesel plant for producing local fuel. Also ideas on water catchment, but the main idea is to help people connect. I can see it all in my minds eye . The pictures I put on are two theatres that I have done in preparation for the pictures on the leaflets .
I am doing the horse box ( picture) up to use as a school woodland theatre community truck , I will drive to various places which will accommodate the 28' plus the tailgate, I will first pick up any litter I can see , then I will put the back down and teach by demonstrating various rural crafts that I have learnt, asking people what they thought of the school woodland theatre project. And give information with leaflets and posters to surrounding villages.
