Grace and Favour Ministries is a small community group of 6 individuals from various backgrounds who share not just faith but a passion to see communities thrive in an engaging, loving, welcoming and inclusive environment for all to enjoy.
We started the group in April 2023. Our first event was a successful community BBQ held at the community hall within a local church in Delves which brought many people together sharing food, games and lots of fun activities. We have since worked alongside other organisations to build our awareness but most importantly support and participate in community initiatives that foster relationship building, improving health and well being and caring for the environment. These groups include local churches in the Delves area and the Bread for Life Charity who hosted the Active Travel Project in 2024. A member signed up as Walk Leader and delivered weekly online sessions to participants using zoom to promote walking, cycling and exercise which re-ignited our desire to use the Beryl bikes in the Walsall Arboretum.
We also held a Ladies Well Being Event with various guest speakers and activities. Following good feedback received we have since then been keen to do more and keep on bringing people together to share skills, enjoy laughter, encourage and share life's stories, develop self-confidence and build new and long lasting friendships all for the purpose of making a difference and changing lives.
