Arts, culture & heritage

Arts, culture & heritage

This project has supported heritage, as it has now preservedthis jewel of Victorian style designed in 1870 by Joseph Goddard, the leading architect in Victorian design. He set his mark in Leicester by building, amongst many other, the Leicester Clock Tower and the Thomas Cook Building. Our project's building named 'the Leicestershire Banking Company' is considered to be his ultimate in design, form and structure, with its Welsh slated Gothic roof. This project wants to raise enough funds to restore the building and make sure its heritage is prolonged for another 150 years.
