Arts, culture & heritage

Arts, culture & heritage

This project will support arts, culture and heritage in various ways: 1. The play document s the life of a Liverpool woman who dedicated her working life to the Arts by working as a professional life model for thousands of artists and students. This project captures the story of Miss June Furlong as she reached the age of 90 during the Covid 19 Global Pandemic and how she used her creativity to keep active during isolation 2. This project captured the heritage of the culture of Liverpool documenting life in the arts and everyday living from the 1950's to present day. 3. This project supported Liverpool Irish artists by providing opportunities to showcase high quality work and a collaboration with a Liverpool resident with a fantastic life story, an actor, artist, writer and sound engineer

Activity, health and leisure

Activity, health and leisure

This project promoted activity by encouraging Miss Furlong to share her memories and stories while she at the end of her life. The written play and audio performance has inspired people to start writing to pass down their memories of every day life down to younger generations. In the future when it is safe I hope to run workshops within sheltered accommodation venues to provide people with new skills
