The environment

The team planted over 100 hedge whips (including 25 Rosa canina, 25 Acer campestre, 25 hawthorn and 25 Prunus splinosa) plus one crab apple tree. We've also planted over 600 wildflower plug plants and added more pond plants in the Spring. The bees were busy visiting the Spring bulbs we had planted and we've seen more wild birds visiting the feeders, as well as drinking in the renovated pond now it has shallower edges. The house sparrows have continued visiting and have started bathing in the pond too! Amphibian numbers are also on the rise, in the Spring we welcomed over 100 frogs!
