My name is Karla Dragic, and I’m the founder of Mums Hub, a community project in Dublin supporting mothers who want to return to work but need flexible, school-hour opportunities that fit real life.
I’m a mum myself, and I understand first-hand how difficult it can be to balance work, childcare, and financial independence. Before starting Mums Hub, I ran my own craft business, where I managed everything from making and selling products to marketing, customer care, and day-to-day operations. That experience taught me how to build something from the ground up, adapt quickly, and keep going even when resources are limited.
Alongside this, I have a background in recruitment and digital marketing, which I now use to support other mothers, helping with CVs, confidence-building, and making connections with employers who are open to flexible working arrangements.
Mums Hub grew from a simple but urgent idea: mothers deserve dignity, connection, and practical support to find work that fits around family life. Since launching the project, I’ve been gathering CVs, engaging directly with local employers, and building partnerships, including with Dublin NEIC, to create real opportunities, not just conversations.
I’m solutions-focused, adaptable, and persistent. When something doesn’t exist, I find a way to build it. Mums Hub reflects that approach, and my commitment to growing it into a trusted, long-term support hub for women in Dublin.
