More about our impact
The environment
The proposed playground and Community space will include the planting of three ornamental flowering trees. The area will be surrounded by a new boundary hedge comprising 60 indigenous mixed species of shrubs that have been specifically chosen so as to attract birds. There will also be a border planted with a variety of flowers and grasses that have been chosen to attract butterflies and other wildlife.
Activity, health and leisure
Our playground will reinforce the enjoyment of physical engagement for all the children and make such a difference to their lives. It will encourage a healthy lifestyle where children can reach their potential, make a difference and foster emotional, social, and physical skills. Additionally, the facilities at the playground will help children to develop their creative and sensory skills by interacting with the equipment that will improve spatial awareness and have both emotional and physical benefits.
