More about our impact
The environment
visitors stated they were impressed with the sustainability marquee and its stallholders inside the marquee and that the speakers were informative and have given them ideas to take home and make changes for sustainability
The local economy
100% of stallholders said that they had a very good or excellent experience at the spring fair
Volunteering, jobs & education
So far this year, we have received over 19 volunteer enquiries on line and we have received donations of plant pots from 7 different people who heard about us through the Spring Fair
Arts, culture & heritage
Bollywood dancers, dhol drummers and Dancesyndrome delivered various performances throughout the day, with several art stalls. The statistics indicate that the dancing was the best of the performances in the opinion of the audience
Activity, health and leisure
We delivered over 6000 leaflets locally and this was reflected in that 70% of the audience that came stated that they lived within 3 miles of Ashton Park. Stallholders were encouraged to share the posts on Facebook and we got a couple of mentions on BBC radio lancashire
