The idea
This is our 10th year of delivering this event and it gets bigger and better every year. We have an entertainment programme including diverse groups from the local choir to bollywood dancers to bagpipes. We provide lots of community organisations with a platform so that they can reach the public and tell them all about their services. New for this year will be a sustainability marquee set up to provide information from cooking with local produce, to buying and electric vehicle to making your houses more efficient and demonstrating crafts and cooking. New to this year will also be the food horseshoe, a space dedicated to local food caterers where we will have a diverse assortment of local caterers suitable for vegans and meat lovers. Entry is free along with childrens activities
What we'll deliver

This event is established and the staff and volunteers who run the event are experienced in managing it, but as costs have increased so much in providing the infrastructure of the event, we have not been able to pass on all of the costs onto our commercial stallholders whose fees have previously supported the community stalls which are so important for those charities and small organisations to have a voice in such a public and celebratory atmosphere
