The grant funding achieved with the concept plans is funding SGS staff and training volunteers, who are working towards creating a new extended museum which will attract people into Spalding.

The funding attracted by the concept plans has helped train volunteers in conservation and digitisation skills.
Arts, culture & heritage
The National Lottery Heritage funding, achieved with the help of the architectural concept plans funded by Spacehive funds for the extension to the Spalding Gentlemen's Society (SGS) Museum, is bringing together the architectural detail, surveys, permissions and the prototype arts, cultural and heritage projects to enable SGS to apply for more National Lottery Heritage and other funds to create a fully open museum, arts, culture and heritage centre for this region.
Activity, health and leisure
This National Lottery Heritage grant includes the services of an activity planner to help SGS create new Arts, Cultural and Heritage activities and opportunities.
