Southwark Council and its partners are working together to support Southwark’s most vulnerable residents. But there is more we need to do. In addition to the financial support from Southwark Council and the Government in response to the COVID-19 crisis, the Southwark Community Response Fund has been set up which anyone can donate to. The fund is run by United St Saviour’s Charity and has been kick-started with £450,000 from local charitable trusts. You can help by donating to the Southwark Community Response Fund. All money raised will go towards helping vulnerable people in Southwark get the support and help they need during at this difficult time.

What we'll deliver:

  • Run crowdfunding campaign
  • distribute funds to key organisations supporting vulnerable people in Southwark

Why it's a great idea:

There are many vulnerable people in our society who need additional help at this time. This fund will help ensure the organisations they are relying on have the funds needed to provide this support.

Steps to get it done:

  • Raise the funding through the crowdfunding campaign
  • Distribute to local groups who are supporting vulnerable people in our communities
