About the Project Creator
We invite you to join the Finchley Sustainability Forum, a new group of local N3 and N12 residents, aiming to create positive change in our area, with an immediate focus on sustainability and the environment.
Our initial objective is to unite the wide range of bodies in Finchley N3 and N12 who are willing to (or already) highlight the importance of sustainability and environmentalism within our community and engage in initiatives that would benefit the environment and improve the quality of life in Finchley.
So far our key activity is the Finchley N3, N12 Pollinator Project. Our wish is to turn N3 and N12 into a “pollinator corridor” by, for example, increasing the amount of pollinator-friendly plants in our public and open places, private businesses, and residents homes. We will try to achieve grants to support corresponding costs and also engage the community in planting activities.
To that effect, we have created two groups on social media where we can all stay in touch. Please join our group on NextDoor app and/or Facebook. Please also give us permission to contact you via email by completing this registration form. Also please view our YouTube Channel where all meetings and webinars can be viewed.
Funds will be transferred to a C.I.C non-profit company: Our Home Our Planet C.I.C (Company Registration Number 10425745) which is managed by Shiri Atsmon.
The initiative has five core organisers (details below), all well known within the community, and also engages members of the public.
