Thanks to everyone who backed our new nets campaign. Preparatory works have been ongoing, in the Autumn we obtained additional planning consent needed to lift the condition attached to planning permission by supplying a new ecological report for the site. Over the winter we have cleared the old nets and prepared the site ready for our contractor Total Play to undertake the work for the new nets. Unfortunately due to the very wet weather in January-March the state of the Green means it has not been possible for the contractor to start work as planned in the off season. We have a date booked in for April and hopefully with fair conditions we'll be able to start this month and be completed by May.
