More about our impact
The environment
Increased food source for birds and insect sand improved the habitat for wildlife.
The local economy
We hoped that improving the biodiversity might encourage persons to want to live in the area and support the local businesses
Volunteering, jobs & education
We did attract 3 volunteers to help with planting, but requests for assistance to schools and community had little effect.
Arts, culture & heritage
We improved the appearance of areas frequently used by the community
Activity, health and leisure
We hope the increased emphasis on caring for nature will encourage persons to take time to relax and recognise how being outdoors can improve their mental health.
