Brain research shows the arts promote mental health6 years ago

Thanks to those of you have donated already! And for those of you who are sharing the link with friends & your networks - thank you again, and keep sharing - your involvement is hugely appreciated. Whilst we get this campaign up and running I thought I'd use this space to share interesting articles about why music and the arts are good for us. First up, an interesting article about how the arts offer an evidence-based solution for promoting mental health. As the article says, 'While practising the arts/ music is not the panacea for all mental health challenges, there’s enough evidence to support prioritizing arts in our own lives at home as well as in our education system.' I hope you enjoy it. https://theconversation.com/brain-research-shows-the-arts-promote-mental-health-136668
