We are a group of volunteers who have been working to preserve and improve the meadowland by removing brambles. We are now looking to engage the community with our conservation development plans.

Squirrel Proof Bird Feeders and Bird Food7 years ago
heene-1.png

We have purchased and installed 6 squirrel proof bird feeders and one bird feeding station and been checking them since before christmas. The squirrel proof feeders are working well and only birds are pecking at the fat balls and eating the seeds. The feeding station has proved to be more challenging as each time we go in to check them the feeders have been knocked to the floor and the contents consumed! We have now placed upside down plastic bottles around the post and hope this has solved the issue! Thank you so much for your support of our project.
