The environment
This project has been supporting not just the centre through reduced energy costs and engagement with sustainability, but also the greater community benefit through lower carbon emissions, improved air quality through reduced gas combustion, and by setting an example for other community projects.
The local economy
This project has already saved Edward Woods Community Centre over £6k in electricity bills, meaning the money saved can be spent on much needed community projects such as food distribution for families in need on the estate.

We hoped though our campaign and follow up activities we have helped to increase awareness of issues around green energy production and sustainability in our community.
